Hybrid House

The project is a 2,000 sf single family home in Chicago with a goal of building an affordable “hybrid” between a "net zero energy" house and a typical market home.  The project is currently under design employing techniques such as radiant air floor, geothermal heating, cooling and domestic hot water heating, natural ventilation and photovoltaics.
