The project is a new charter school in an old industrial building, housing two elementary and one high school. The project utilizes efficient lighting and controls, solar hot water heating and efficient HVAC systems. Several systems were evaluated during the design process with a life cycle cost analysis. The project was awarded a grant of $300K to implement solar cooling as part of the design.
