Homan Square Power House Charter School

This unique project is in the process of converting the 100 year old Sears Power House Building on the west side of Chicago into a 90,000sq ft Charter School.  The building is on the National Register of Historic Places and will incorporate a geothermal heating and cooling system coupled with efficient lighting, water saving plumbing fixtures and recycled materials.  dbHMS is the Sustainability Consultant and Commissioning Agent for the project.
