The 7Seventy7 project is a new multi-family residential tower located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The new 34-story tower consists of approximately 315 residential units, parking podium with approximately 1,354 – 1,412 parking stalls and retail space. Additional building features include an amenity deck with pool, dog walk area, club room and lounge.
dbHMS provided MEPFP design build services which included performance specifications and basic schematic design documents that were included as a transfer package for the design build subcontractors. Additionally, the team performed reviews of the design builders’ documents at project milestones and worked with the Engineer of Record to refine design strategies that were incorporated throughout the Construction Document phase.
Additionally dbHMS provided Sustainable consulting, and Commissioning services for the project that helped achieve a LEED Silver rating. Through numerous energy modeling iterations we helped optimize the building facade properties including wall insulation and glass performance, and informed the design team on additional energy efficiency strategies to be incorporated. These include high efficiency LED lighting, energy star equipment, high efficiency HVAC equipment including water source heat pumps and condensing boilers, energy recovery through exhaust streams, demand control ventilation in garage - all which collectively helped reduce energy consumption by over 20% compared to a code compliant building.
